Digital Pathology Project
Pathology is the science of diagnosing diseases by detecting changes on cell and tissue levels caused by various diseases. Slides obtained using traditional microscopy take a lot of time and effort to be interpreted by pathologists. A report is created accordingly and used by doctors for diagnosis along with other data of the patients.
Digital pathology, on the other hand, enables these slides to be rapidly transferred to digital form, classified, interpreted, and stored. The digital pathology system allows fast scanning and transfer of pathology slides and related information. It makes subjective interpretations and decision- making more standardized instead of being based on doctor’s personal experience and variable parameters.
In this direction, our main goal is to develop a diagnostic tool in the field of digital pathology with artificial intelligence algorithms to produce remotely accessible and easy-to-use software, application, and fast scanner devices for digital pathology. Under this project, we will develop the following products to take place in the market:
- Digital pathology data platform and guide.
- Mobile application for digital pathology-based diagnosis.
- Mobile application for digital pathology-based patient monitoring.
- Products such as digital pathology single and multiple screening devices/user interfaces
Our aim is to bring a digital pathology laboratory and digital pathology scanner and components supported by artificial intelligence algorithms to assist doctors in clinical diagnosis and treatment processes.
